From September 8 to 11, “Hi, Mount Tai” Study and Experience Camp for Internet Influencers Around World was held in east China’s Shandong. This event was hosted by Cyberspace Administration of Shandong and CRI Online, organized by Shandong Branch of CRI Online, and co-organized by Cyberspace Administration of Tai’an.

This event, with the theme of “Mount Tai culture”, included a series of study and research activities with a sense of technology and experience. Nine internet influencers were invited to explore Mount Tai culture through on-site visit, who are from America, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece, South Korea, Ukraine as well as the multi-lingual internet influencers studio of China Media Group. During the journey, they told the stories of Mount Tai to the world using expressions of international style.

During the event, foreign internet influencers hiked on Mount Tai and appreciated ancient pines, cypresses and stone carvings, immersing themselves in magnificent scenery and time-honored culture of Mount Tai. They also visited the Daimiao Temple, an ancient architecture complex, which was a perfect place for them to explore the history and its origin of Mount Tai culture. At the foot of the mountain, they learned to prepare tofu banquet and explored the food culture symbolizing peace and happiness; they watched the "shibuxian" shadow puppetry that told the legend of Shigandang; they experienced local intangible cultural heritage skills such as rubbings and peach wood carving, gaining diverse ways people recorded their happy and peaceful lives.

The vision of "peace and prosperity" embodied in Mount Tai culture has resonated widely among internet influencers. During their study and experience camp, all of them have deeply experienced the spirit of openness, inclusiveness, and harmonious coexistence of Chinese civilization.
